Affirmative procurement
In terms of the Company's procurement policy, preference is given to companies that are at least 50.1% black owned and managed. We prioritise suppliers from the previously disadvantaged group as well as community projects that they are involved in.
Women and youth empowerment
Baatshuma is passionate about youth and women empowerment and focuses mainly in areas in which it operates, i.e. Limpopo and Gauteng. We continuously assist our youth by offering them internships as well as in-service training for emerging plumbers. We recently sponsored renovations of a youth development centre to benefit the youth and the communities we serve as a whole.
